Announcement: iDailyDiary updated to version 3.10

We're pleased to announce that iDailyDiary version 3.10 has been released. This update contains quite a few new features and improvements.

Here's a full list of changes in this update, note some of these features are only available in the Professional version:

Compatibility: Version 3 upgrades the database engine and changes the database structure. All diaries created with previous versions will be prompted to upgrade database structure and diary data automatically transferred. Backup copies of original data files are automatically created. Once upgraded data files can not be downgraded though you can still revert to originals with previous versions of iDD.

New: Change default icons for Diary tabs/Sticky Tabs Templates etc. and change all icons individually.
New: Change side graphic for other stationary images
New: Diary switcher toolbar for when you have multiple diaries open
New: 'File - Maintenance' menu, including rename diary, compact diary and change password.
New: Insert Template toolbar button
New: Insert Date/TimeStamp toolbar button
New: Past Special as Text toolbar button
New: Lock/Unlock diary records
New: 'Go To Date...', quick calendar to get to a date on navigation drop down menu
New: 'Today' toolbar button
New: 'First Entry' and 'Last Entry' options on navigation drop down menu
New: Display recently visited entries on 'Previous' navigation drop down menu.
New: 'Selection Filter...' when printing/exporting entries (right-click tree view menu)
New: Create daily events such as Birthdays/Anniversaries etc.
Impr: Database has improved 128 bit encryption
Impr: Database automatically compresses data
Impr: TabName field increased to 40 characters
Impr: Tree-view for sticky's and templates can now have sections added
Impr: Drop down fonts list inserts recently used fonts at top of list
Impr: 'Paste Special - Text' has shortcut-key assigned
Impr: Entries displayed on Tree View can be drag & dropped onto diary to create links
Impr: Improved Search, searches tab names and embedded file names.
Impr: Spelling now includes Autocorrect for commonly misspelled words
Impr: Templates can be used to store and apply formats such as 'Heading 1' etc.
Fix: Export to RTF now exports inserted file images correctly
Fix: 'Remove Link' now correctly traverses across spaces
Fix: Fixed some bugs in Timers
